When people experience harm in healthcare, they respond in many different ways. Some people might notice changes in how they think about themselves, other people, and the world. They might notice problems with trust, feeling powerless, or feeling unsafe. Sometimes people feel stuck, like they don’t know how to move forward. The resources in this section are meant to help people think about things in new ways and try new things. Certain parts might be helpful to you and other parts might not. We hope that you will take whatever you find helpful here, and leave the rest behind.

For each section, you can choose whether to watch the video, listen to audio only, or read a transcript. All three are exactly the same, and we are providing the content in these different formats to make it as accessible as possible.

Sometimes it is useful to clarify what things are important to you, what you really and genuinely care about. This can be especially helpful if you feel lost, directionless, or like nothing matters. This section might also help you understand why you do what you do.
